Serious Fishness
Name of the game – Serious Fishness
Role: – Composer, Voice Actor, Sound designer & 3D Designer
Team size: – 6
This game was made as part of an assignment at the Hanze University of applied sciences. We were tasked with making a game in a 3D environment that would raise awareness of the union of waterbords tasks.
You play the game from the perspective of a fish and clean up the dirty water the same way the waterboard would do it. I made some 3D designs and models but was primarily responsible for all of the auditory feedback you hear.
I was given this cutscene animation that plays at the start of our game to make sounds for. All of the sounds were created by me. Including the music, voiceover and any other sound.
When composing I usually start out by messing around on the guitar and making some nice melodies. The audiofile below is an example of one of my guitar drafts.
This song was inteded for when you are busy cleaning the trash with your bacteria and vacuum. You can listen to the finished version below.
This next song was intended to be for a peaceful hub area. It needed to be relaxing, so you could start off the game in peace.
